Therefore, we are to reflect the character of God in our lives and reveal that character through doing His will. Eureka’s Theological Biblical Certificate Of Progress Program is committed to educating the whole person-spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically through the teaching, mentoring, and nurturing of each student. ECOPP is dedicated to encouraging a lifestyle that reflects and reveals God’s character.

Kind regards,

Dr. Herman D. Brown,PhD., DTh.

ECOPP President

History

The Certificate Of Progress Program (COPP), originally organized at Antioch Baptist Church in October of 1976, and was designed to produce qualified church leaders capable of leading church members to the positions of knowledge, understanding and application of biblical principals. Dr. Herman D. Brown has been credited as the person who originally instituted the Certificate Of Progress Program. As a result, several boards of Christian education were implemented for local churches at Antioch, Starkville, MS, and advanced studies were added to the curriculum. The certificate of achievement was awarded to those students who exceeded the requirements of the COPP and who had advanced in studies beyond its scope.

Objectives

Our objectives at Eureka’s Certificate Of Progress Program are:
